Welcome to the School of Public Talent (Major in Public Affairs)
Our School of Public Talent aims to cultivate future leaders in the public sector who are well-prepared for the glocal era. To achieve this, we have developed and operate a curriculum that enables students to analyze various social phenomena institutionally and normatively, identify problems, and propose alternative solutions.
Specifically, we offer an integrated curriculum tailored to the demands of eligibility exams such as LEET and PSAT, national examinations, and public institutions. We are proud to have established Korea’s first [Interdisciplinary Major in Real Estate Appraisal]. In addition, through programs such as the [JBNU Practical Competency Education Program], [Energy New Industry Innovation Convergence University Project], and [Big Data Innovation Convergence University Project], we provide educational programs that respond to societal changes.
Our undergraduate programs include special lectures such as Public Science, Public JOB Studies, and Pre-Law School, as well as experiences like the National Assembly Legislative Academy, Supreme Court Tours, and Law Firm Practicums. These programs allow students to interact with experts and alumni from various fields, helping them develop their professional skills. Moreover, our students actively participate in academic clubs such as Todok-Todok and Public Law Research, achieving excellent results in policy, ordinance, and debate competitions. Social clubs like SHOOT and BALL provide opportunities for dynamic campus life with seniors and juniors.
Under this educational environment, our school continues to achieve the highest law school admission rates among single-major undergraduate programs in Korea. Our students also achieve excellent results in professional qualification exams such as CPA, Labor Consultant, Real Estate Appraiser, and Tax Accountant. Graduates pursuing careers through national examinations, public institutions, regional civil service (Grade 7), or financial sectors including commercial banks also serve as valuable assets to society.
The School of Public Talent remains committed to nurturing future leaders in the public sector through student-centered and demand-driven curricula and programs, fueled by unwavering passion and dedication.
